Saturday I went on an excursion with friend and fellow photographer Scott. His specialties include architectural and landscape photography, quite a different cup of tea from my usual subjects, so it was fun to get a taste of something different. The weather was cool but not miserably cold, and overcast--perfect for photographing waterfalls. Our destination was the North Georgia Mountains and a few favorite spots he hadn't visited for a while. We had fun!
Unfortunately I was hampered by a battery issue as well as forgetting my tripod mount, but I got this shot.

Here's Scott getting set up with Sally the dog by his side.
