Brittany and Marvin - Piedmont Room Wedding {Nina Parker Photography}

On a cold but beautiful Saturday in downtown Atlanta Brittany and Marvin said their vows in front of friends and family at the lovely Piedmont Room.  From Brittany's exquisite oval solitaire ring to Marvin's Superman cuff links, every detail was perfection.  The bride looked stunning in her sleek, lace dress, and the groom and his guys were very dapper in their bespoke suits.  This couple truly would have stunned in any setting, but with the amazing light streaming in the windows the entire roomed looked bright and ethereal.  It was a pure joy to be part of their wedding day and I expect they will have an amazing life together.  Congratulations Marvin and Brittany!

Vintage Furniture for your wedding

Have you considered bringing your couch to your wedding?  It's not such a crazy idea if you have any unique or vintage furnishings in your home.  Family pieces or lovingly selected antiques can bring a unique quality to your celebration, whether you use them to create seating, accent the decor, or as photo  props.

When Sabrina Weinstein and Chris Van Wart wed this summer at Lake Lanier, she had several beautiful pieces there for her bridal portraits.  They were then moved to the reception area, where guests posed in a photo booth style area during the evening's festivities.

Megan and Brad at The River Club {Suwanee Wedding Photographer}

What a very memorable day this was!  Megan and Brad's nuptials, planned as a lovely outdoor ceremony overlooking a golf club, happened to coincide with a blistering heat wave.  It was 108 degrees by midafternoon, but nothing could take the glow off the bride or the groom.  Surrounded by friends and family they bore the heat with a smile, stayed hydrated, and thoroughly enjoyed their celebration at The River Club in Suwanee, GA.

Finally official.  Megan and Brad share a moment together while the marriage license is signed.

The evening's festivities kicked off with a first dance by Megan and Brad, followed by a full throttle party led by Yacht Rock Schooner.  These guys did a fantastic job, as usual, and kept the dance floor hopping all night despite the heat.
