Twinkle Twinkle Engagement-Jessica and James Sneak Peak {Atlanta Engagement Photographer}

What better way to experience the season mere days before Christmas than by getting out and about (NOT at a shopping mall) to see some lights and love?  Well, that's exactly what I did Sunday with Jessica and James.  We had a fantastic time, and some fairly cooperative weather, during their engagement session.  We started at a park near the Chattahoochee River for some outdoorsy shots, then headed into Buckhead in search of a Christmas tree lot.  After striking out at two different tree lots (already closed, no trees), we settled for the lights and decoration to be found around Peachtree and Lennox, and I think it worked out great.  Being around these two could squash the "Bah Humbug out of anybody!  Here's one sneak peak....the rest I'll share after they see their images.  Hope you and yours are having a wonderful and blessed holiday season.

After a somewhat inauspicious beginning that had us huddling under foliage in a vain attempt to dodge the raindrops, Monica and Allen and I returned the next day and had a great time during their engagement session at Roswell Mill.  We're just easing into fall here in Georgia, which does NOT mean the heat is completely over.  Despite a bit of humidity these two had a glow all their own.  No matter how many times I see a couple in love it still amazes me to see the expression of a man when he's looking at his bride to be.  There's just nothing else like it.  

There were SO many good ones I decided to do two posts......so more from them on tomorrow's blog!

Admission:  we did not bring these signs.  They were propped against a tree on the main trail, while the photographer to whom they belonged was down the slope on the rocks working with his couple.  They were nowhere to be seen, though, when we spotted these signs so we just HAD to pick them up for a quick photo!  (Thanks fellow photographer....whoever you are!)

You know how you've talked on the phone with someone and just can't wait to meet them in person and put a face with the voice? That's how I felt about finally meeting Danette after our many phone calls. And she and Thomas were such a joy to work with--their engagement session is truly a favorite. Dannette has such a sweetness about her, and I love the way Thomas looks at her, like he's found a treasure and can't believe it himself. Their wedding is next weekend and I am counting the days until I get to spend more time with them. So, without further ado, here is part 1 of Danette and Thomas' engagement session in Marietta.
