Fine Art Book and Accordian Albums - Pet Portraits {Nina Parker PETS}

With every photo session that I do, there are various points in the process that make me particularly happy.  For me, the session itself and the time spent with clients is a huge high point, whether it's a wedding day, an engagement session, or a portrait session with dogs or people.  Another BIG moment is seeing the joy that people get from their images when they first see them.  But another awesome and uniquely satisfying experience is seeing and touching beautiful pieces of photographic art created from my images and knowing these items will bring my clients joy for years to come.

After Bella and Zoe's session their mom purchased a print to frame, which was her main goal from the session.  But she also selected a hardcover fine art book in order to enjoy all of her images, and added a set of mini accordian albums for her purse and office.  For these books a rich, earthy linen cover was chosen for both the fine art book and the matching accordian albums.

A sheer vellum page protects the pages at the front and back of the book.

Mini Accordian Albums come in sets of three and can be utilized to have a brag book at work or in your bag, or also as gifts for family members.

Hidden magnetics in the covers hold the little books closed when they are folded.

The accordian albums feature beautiful linen textured paper.

The mini albums have 12 panels combined on both sides and usually hold 6-12 images depending on design and how the images are laid out.

Hardcover fine art books and accordian albums are available for all sessions but are especially popular for babies, pets, and engagements.  They can be ordered with fabric or leather covers, or with photographic wrap covers.  There are several samples available--feel free to call 770-330-5414 to schedule a consultation to talk about scheduling a session and creating a book of memories for your family.

Bella and Zoe - Weimaraner Portraits in Atlanta {Nina Parker PETS}

My affection for Weimaraners goes WAY, way back......specifically to junior high school and a favorite teacher.  Mr. Jackson was both an entertaining and engaging speaker and our class sponsor, so he is a key figure in my school experience.  He was also the owner of a magnificent Weimaraner named Shadow, and during one memorable Chapel service utilized Shadow to illustrate the point he was making in his talk.  I'll never forget hearing Mr. Jackson's voice ringing through the auditorium giving a command, and seeing a streak of grey charge down the aisle and leap up onto the platform.  It was my first introduction to the athletic and dignified German breed, and it made quite an impression.

So when I got a call to do a session for two Weimaraners I was thrilled.  Bella and Zoe and their humans share a lovely home in Buckhead, and I think the girls know how lucky they are to have been rescued by their owners.  Bella is older and clearly the alpha, but she and Zoe get along and clearly have a bond.   They have a particular interest in chipmunks, and with a lush and wooded lot surrounding the back yard, no shortage of potential prey.  Even in repose, though, these dogs have so much life and personality in their eyes....they were a joy to photograph.

This was a shot Zoe's mom specifically requested.....apparently this is where you will find Zoe MOST of the time, comfortably ensconsed in her mom's chair!

Sun flare + beautiful trees + gorgeous light + handsome dog = LOVE!

One of my favorites of Bella....such beautiful posture and dignity in this breed.

Bella surveys her domain from a favorite vantage point....

These two are always up for another adventure, preferably one that involves a walk.

 Keeping a watchful eye on the yard for chipmunks....or squirrels.....or both.  They don't stand a chance!

Brittany and Marvin - Piedmont Room Wedding {Nina Parker Photography}

On a cold but beautiful Saturday in downtown Atlanta Brittany and Marvin said their vows in front of friends and family at the lovely Piedmont Room.  From Brittany's exquisite oval solitaire ring to Marvin's Superman cuff links, every detail was perfection.  The bride looked stunning in her sleek, lace dress, and the groom and his guys were very dapper in their bespoke suits.  This couple truly would have stunned in any setting, but with the amazing light streaming in the windows the entire roomed looked bright and ethereal.  It was a pure joy to be part of their wedding day and I expect they will have an amazing life together.  Congratulations Marvin and Brittany!

Tacheka's Maternity Session - Portrait Couture

When Tacheka and I began talking about her session we quickly decided to combine the concept of maternity with the new Portrait Couture style and go for a glam mama-to-be session. And let's just say the results were very satisfying! This is her first baby, a little girl, and she definitely has the glow. Being a fashionable gal she loved getting her hair and makeup done and feeling really glamorous to celebrate her pregnancy.
