Brittany and Marvin - Piedmont Room Wedding {Nina Parker Photography}

On a cold but beautiful Saturday in downtown Atlanta Brittany and Marvin said their vows in front of friends and family at the lovely Piedmont Room.  From Brittany's exquisite oval solitaire ring to Marvin's Superman cuff links, every detail was perfection.  The bride looked stunning in her sleek, lace dress, and the groom and his guys were very dapper in their bespoke suits.  This couple truly would have stunned in any setting, but with the amazing light streaming in the windows the entire roomed looked bright and ethereal.  It was a pure joy to be part of their wedding day and I expect they will have an amazing life together.  Congratulations Marvin and Brittany!

Bella - Sneak Peak {Atlanta Dog Photographer}

Bella the Goldendoodle invited me over for a fun family session with her people and her (reluctant) sister Mimi the Cat.  She is TOO adorable....much more to come but here's a sneak peak.

Tacheka's Maternity Session - Portrait Couture

When Tacheka and I began talking about her session we quickly decided to combine the concept of maternity with the new Portrait Couture style and go for a glam mama-to-be session. And let's just say the results were very satisfying! This is her first baby, a little girl, and she definitely has the glow. Being a fashionable gal she loved getting her hair and makeup done and feeling really glamorous to celebrate her pregnancy.

Ballerina Portraits {Atlanta Portrait Photographer}

Having been a fan of dance in general and ballet specifically since I was a little girl, I was thrilled to do this photo session for Miss Poppy. Her mom Lori and I worked together years ago and it seems like yesterday that Miss P was a toddler. How time does fly! Now she's a lovely 12 year old taking the next step in her dance training and taking on pointe shoes. Lori, Poppy, and her friend Hailey arrived with multiple tutus and leotards in tow and I had a giddy moment pawing at the tulle. All girls have a fascination with tutus, I think. The session combined the ballet shots with some images done in the Portrait Couture style we'll be rolling out soon, and big props to Hailey for serving as an excellent assistant and holding my reflectors and lightstand. There were SO many great shots I'm saving some of them for tomorrow's blog.... :)
