Danette and Thomas Wedding at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer {Atlanta Wedding Photographer}

After several conversations with Danette over the phone, then meeting her and Thomas for the engagement session, I knew their wedding would be very, very special. And indeed it was! You can learn a great deal about people by watching their friends and family, and this wedding was truly a celebration of this beloved couple. It was extremely obvious that Danette and Thomas have a major impact on everyone they meet, from their inner circle to those they interacted with in planning the wedding.

The ceremony was at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer on Peachtree, followed by a reception at Colony Square on Peachtree. Both Danette's mother and sister gave beautiful, heartfelt toasts to the couple that had me blinking back a tear. Then Thomas' son, daughter, and son in law gave speeches that honored their father and his new wife and revealed the deep love and respect that is shared in this family. There was an unexpected toast from.....one of the wedding vendors. The catering manager actually came out, claimed the microphone, and shared how much she had enjoyed working with Danette and her mother on the planning, and how truly sad she was that the day was here because it meant the planning sessions were over. At the end of the evening the happy couple made their exit to the waiting limo, stopping along the way for lots of hugs from their guests and family. Congratulations Thomas and Danette! It was so special to be part of your day.
